Halloween projects with 100 Proof Press stamps

This is one holiday I really wish we would celebrate more in Australia! I love the craft associated with it :)

I have some more Halloween projects to share using 100 Proof Press stamps. If you missed the last batch, you can find them here.

First up is a card using Trick or Treat Silhouette on a Distress Ink background:

Next is a bookmark using Edgar Allen Poe:

 

So that all the paper had that delicious aged look that can only come from an old book, I found a blank page in an old book and stamped Edgar onto it, and then printed the quote onto it with my computer printer. There's something about a literary figure on a bookmark that makes me smile.

 

Last of all is the Large Raven, stamped on patterned paper and placed in a nest with a couple of eggs. I have this nest perched on top of a stack of old books in my entry hallway:

Halloween crafting with 100 Proof Press

One of the things I like most about working with a US company is the opportunity to do some Halloween projects. Here are some things I put together using 100 Proof Press stamps:

 

All of the patterned papers come from my Authentique Glowing 6x6 pad - love this colour combination! 

 

Here's a close up of the card. I used the Jumping Skeleton image with the Trick or Treat words. I also lightly stamped the Profit and Loss sheet in the background. The fancy element behind the words is a Spellbinders die : 

 

Here's the Moo card.  I used Spooking in a Nightshirt over the Profit and Loss Sheet background.  The little letters are from Prima:

Last but not least, here's the tag close up.  I used Flying Bat on the centre of the rosette, Trick or Treat words and the Witches on Broom border.

A few of the DT girls have had some fun with it.  Here's my card:
 

I coloured in the image of Oleander by CC Designs with Copics. It's not often I get to make any Halloween cards, so I seized the opportunity when I saw this image and the ribbon.  The seam binding bow at the top of the card was coloured with Copics too.  You can see my step by step tutorial here.

Spooky Stampavie

Challenge #15 at Stampavie is Halloween. I thought this would be quite a challenge, because if you've seen the images, they're anything but scary!

Here's my card:


I used an image called Mouse, who is usually carrying a Christmas bauble. I coloured him with Copics, then cut him out carefully and made him carry a sign (a Melissa Frances Halloween sticker).

The spider web paper is from Making Memories, and the orange journaling card is from Fancy Pants.

Halloween with Flair

These are some Halloween themed cards I made using some papers from Flair Designs and Odd Bird Planet stamps.

And here's that voodoo doll I love so much:


For not the first time this year, I wish we celebrated this day a bit more in Australia - it just sounds like so much fun.

So there they are. Might be a little late for cards for this year, but just in time to scrap those cute little costumes!

more halloween....

I'm really getting in the mood for Halloween.......it's a shame it's not really celebrated here. I do however look forward to reruns of old horror movies, and I just love halloween cards. Here are two more I made using justjohanna's Odd Bird Planet stamps from the new release.



I used Kelly's wooden door on its side, with Kelly's newest owl and Kelly's bug eyed pumpkin on the card above, and Kelly's voodoo doll on the card below.


I reckon this card would be suitable for Valentine's Day - as long as your guy has a good sense of humour and doesn't mind the effigy.

This is a card I made for fun - we don't really celebrate Halloween here in Australia, but I just couldn't resist playing. I'm having a love affair with the colour orange at the moment, and I was dying to use the bag stamp I designed.

I love how Kathi's ghost Priscilla looks poking out the top.
