Stampotique Sweetmoves Card tutorial

The lovely Karen from Kazmos Kreations has asked me to do a little bit of arty work for her :) Karen is a lady after my own heart - arty, fun, and one of the most modestly creative people I know. I have been attending art journaling classes with her for a while now, and my daughters look forward to school holidays so that they can do classes at Karen's too.

Today I have a tutorial up on the Kazmos Kreations blog for this card:

I used Stampotique's Sweetmoves image, Stencil Girl stencil, Faber-Castell Whipped Spackle and some Dina Wakley paints.

Pop on over to the blog and check it out!

Art Journaling with Gelatos

It's been a long time between posts! I have been busy (make that very busy!) with life outside art lately, but I'll be back very soon.

Here's a few pages I did in an little Mixed Media Journal by Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft:

I had the best fun with the journal, my Gelatos, some stencils and Darkroom Door stamps! You can see the whole post on the Design Memory Craft blog.

Thanks for looking!

Altered Birdhouse with Design Memory Craft

I had the best fun putting together this project! It's a little wooden birdhouse, and I altered it using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft products.

I used Whipped Spackle coloured with Gelatos® to achieve that stucco finish. All the details as well as a step by step can be found on the Design Memory Craft blog.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Birds on a Wire on a Gelatos background

The new Birds on a Wire dies from Spellbinders look fabulous in black on a coloured background.

Here they are on cards with backgrounds made from Faber-Castell Gelatos on canvas paper:

The shimmer that can only just be seen here in this pic comes from Perfect Pearls mists.

The full materials list can be found on the Down Under Direct Inspiration blog.  Thanks for dropping in!
