Earth Day challenge

OK - it's finally time - here's my challenge.

I'd like you to have a go at making a card using OLD TEXT. This can be a page out of an old book, newspaper, sheet music etc. Easy!

Once you've made your card, post it on your blog (or if you don't have a blog, post it to the forum here). Wherever you post it, be sure to leave me a comment at this post so I know to put you in the draw for an Earth Day stamp.

Don't forget, there are HEAPS of challenges to enter - click here to see all of the Odd Bird Planet DT challenges.

The winners of all of each of the challenges will be entered into a draw for the following prizes:
$100 worth of OBP stamps
$50 worth of OBP stamps
Five lucky people will receive a coupon for a whopping 25% off their next order.

Alrighty, time to dig out that old text! Here's some inspiration to get you going:

Don't forget to leave me a comment at this post :)

We have a winner!

One (1) grand prize of a $ 250 justjohanna shopping spree

One (1) second prize of a $ 50 justjohanna gift certificate

Five (5) third prizes of 25% off coupons for the justjohanna online store

Woo hoo! Best of luck to everyone.

My Earth Day Challenge

OK - here goes - my Earth Day Challenge.

My theme is "Colours of the Earth." All you have to do to be in the running for some fabulous prizes is make a card (using justjohanna stamps if you have them, or other stamps if you don't) using colours you'd find in nature. I stuck with blue, green, brown and white in these samples, but I'd love to see your very own interpretation.

Once you've finished your creation, upload it to your blog, and leave a comment here. I'll choose a winner for the special Earth Day stamp from justjohanna, and all participants will go into the draw for $250 worth of justjohanna stamps and other great prizes.

There are heaps of challenges happening today - check them out here at the justjohanna forum.

justjohanna Earth Day Extravaganza

We have challenges happening all day, and I am hosting one from 8-11am this Sunday 20th April (Melbourne time, or 3-6pm Saturday, Pacific Standard time). Details of my challenge will appear at the jj forum then, and while you're there, check out everyone else's challenges too.
It sure to be heaps of fun! See you then,

Earth Day

The justjohanna design team will be hosting an Earth Day Extravaganza. Earth Day is not actually until April 22, but if you're going to host a 24 hour world-wide event, you're better off having it on a weekend right?

Sooooo, on Saturday 19th April, prepare yourself for hourly challenges. (This will spill over into Sunday 20th here in Australia). There will be a prize awarded per challenge - this will be a Limited Edition Earth Day stamp, and all participants will go into the running for the following:

Grand prize of a $250 shopping spree
Second place winner will receive a $50 gift certificate
Five third place winners will receive a 25% off coupon

I'll be posting more details about the Extravaganza and my particular challenge as they become available, but to be kept totally up to date, why not visit the justjohanna message board? There you'll find news, random challenges, a marvellous gallery and you'll have the opportunity to chat with some very nice people.
