Spring in Kraft

The theme for this week's challenge at The Kraft Journal is 'Spring Fling.'  Here's my card:

The topiary tree is a very old stamp by an Australian company called Annaleey Crafts (I think they're no longer around as I can't find them online), and the words are from Hero Arts. The tree is coloured with Copics.

The reason I used this stamp today is I did a big clean out of my craft room. Still a few things to find homes for, but I'm feeling so much better, and oh my goodness, it was like going shopping in a shop that only stocks stuff I like. I'd forgotten what I own! So nice to reconnect with some old (and sometimes dirty) friends - just like our monthly ATC group at Little Bits LOL.

Thanks for stopping by for a look.

  1. This is gorgeous! I love the little rose buds on the topiary :) Thank you for all your well wishes!

  2. Lovely card! Congrats on clearing out the craft room, I need to do that myself . . .

  3. Oh my gosh this is so cute! I would never have thought of putting the mini roses on the topiary, but they are absolutely perfect for it. I always enjoy seeing your projects for our challenge. Thanks for playing again at The Kraft Journal!

  4. this is adorable .. PERFECTION ... i just love all of it, everything about it ... colours, design, texture all of it ... hugz x

  5. Hi Teresa,
Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog.
Sweet card and I just adore the Pout LO below. Stunning. Love the piece of journaling over to the left. So cool.

  6. This is just adorable, Teresa! I love that old stamp you uncovered, and the sentiment is just perfect for it. Love the layered cardstock and the twill tie, and the little flowers you added to the topiary are so sweet.
Thanks for playing along with us again at the Kraft Journal.

  7. Love it! Love the kraft background and the flowers on the tree and congrats for the spring cleaning!

  8. Are you saying that your friends are "old and dirty"? LOL!

I love the kraft background with the planter and topiary. The roses add the perfect touch.

I've been in cleaning mode too. Feels great.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave me some love!
