Happy birthday Mother!

It was mum's 75th birthday yesterday. I bought her some of the most comfortable sandals I've ever tried on (they're from South Africa and I bought them at Mulberry Hill). I also took her to get her hair done, and then we went out to dinner with the whole family.

This is the card I made for her using some of the many Prima flowers I bought from Debling in Design at Picture to Page last year:

Paper is Basic Grey, stamps are Savvy Stamps, and the chandelier is Prima.  I also used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch. Ink: Milled Lavendar Distress Ink. Pearls by Kaisercraft, coloured with V95 Copic.

Mum loved all the flowers. Rachel nearly brought it all undone by writing 'Happy 76th Birthday!' inside. Noooo Rachel! Just 75.

When the restaurant brought out the cake after dinner, they had arranged the candles I gave them as 57. Noooo - the other way around. Nice compliment though LOL.
