I was fortunate on Sunday to partake of a class at Little Bits with the amazing Liz Aitken. Liz is a very talented artist, and after Sunday I also consider her to be a fabulous teacher. I can't wait for her next class.
We made the most adorable little hinge book using an eclectic blend of embellishments. I haven't quite finished my front cover, but here it is, a work in progress:
and here it is on the inside:
That was before lunch. After lunch we made a gorgeous pendant (the first of many for me, I can tell ya!).
I kept shouting out "My pendant is so darn cute!" I thought a few of the people sitting at the other end of the table were going to throttle me!
ETA a little discovery:
PROBLEM: the leaf dangle was silver and the frame was gold
SOLUTION: sponge the silver metal with Saddle Brown Stazon - it turns the silver to gold! I sponged a little black Stazon onto both pieces to even out the differences.
Teresa I am so jealous...I love the pendant and love the book...sounds like it would have been a great class...
