Welcome to the Art Journey and Darkroom Door blog hop!

I had the pleasure of working with the Steampunk 3 stamp set from Art Journey. Here's my grungey masculine card:
I started by tearing the top layer off some corrugated cardboard and applying gesso. Then I stamped and cut out the Art Journey stamps before inking the edges. I stamped Darkroom Door's Brick Wall Background stamp on the card front, and added the corrugated cardboard panel with some gauze tucked behind it. I then added some cogs cut from the mini Tim Holtz die and an old train ticket with a pin.

ReplyDeleteSteampunk is not my thing, but I do enjoy seeing just how others put these cards together. Yours is just fabulous, Teresa! I love the way you have combined all of the various elements here.
ReplyDeleteI find it very difficult to do steampunk...my brain just doesn't know what to do. But I love to see the detail that goes into those projects, and even though it seems so random, somehow it all works together in the end.
