Darkroom Door & Art Journey Blog Hop
Welcome to the Art Journey and Darkroom Door blog hop!
All 23 members of the Darkroom Door and Art Journey design teams have joined together to bring you a 5 day creative extravaganza! Each artist will inspire you with a project using stamps from both of these fabulous companies.
I had the pleasure of working with the Steampunk 3 stamp set from Art Journey. Here's my grungey masculine card:
I started by tearing the top layer off some corrugated cardboard and applying gesso. Then I stamped and cut out the Art Journey stamps before inking the edges. I stamped Darkroom Door's Brick Wall Background stamp on the card front, and added the corrugated cardboard panel with some gauze tucked behind it. I then added some cogs cut from the mini Tim Holtz die and an old train ticket with a pin.
Now, what's a blog hop without some prizes?! Darkroom Door and Art Journey will be giving away a few prize packs, with winners randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by Sunday, June 29th. Lots of chances to win some goodies, just leave a comment on this post to enter!
Thanks for stopping at my blog! The next person to visit on the blog hop is:
