........and it finally did. I accidentally stayed up all night in my craft room. At one stage, I could hear the birds start to chirp, and I thought "ooh, I should go to bed soon". Then I hear a gasp and "Teresaaaaaaa - have you been up all night?" from my husband who was off to work. He made me feel like a naughty teenager, but not in an exciting way.
Anyway I guess you'll be wanting to see what I was up to. I was actually, among other things, putting together samples for some classes I'll be teaching at Little Bits next term.
This photo is of a little round album made from chipboard coasters. I used my little niece Isabel as the subject and some Paper Salon double-sided papers in soft pink and yellow. It's got photos, some journalling and of course heaps of ribbon and some other embellishments.
The next two photos are of a canvas and card class, where we'll make a canvas and then a matching card using canvas paper. I've used acrylic paints (you could just as easily use Twinkling H2Os), some rusted wire and bells, and one of the new chipboard birds by Collections.
Teresa you naughty girl....but what great work...I love the canvas and card ...I love that rusty wire..must get me some...
