Here's the great sketch we had to work with:
and here's my card:
This week was a little more exciting than usual - I got to play with some NEW stuff! The flowers, ribbon and gems are all new and will be available at AnnaBelle Stamps shortly. The flowers come in colour matched packs with a variety of sizes in them, and the ribbon comes packed on handly cardboard spools - great for storage. I used stamps from the I Can Fly set.
I used 6x6 papers from Basic Grey, and my Copic markers to colour in the images. I've shown the colours I used FYI - I hope that helps.
Thanks for looking, and don't forget to check out the AnnaBelle Stamps blog for details on this fortnight's prize and more inspiration from the design team. I sure hope you can join in the sketch challenge fun.

Say it in Green and Blue
Whoever said blue and green should never be seen? I love the combination! Here's a card I made with AnnaBelle Stamps:
I used a stamp from the Flourishes set to help me line up the Sprinkles. The Flourishes set is the prize for this fortnight's challenge - have you got your entry in? The words are from the Flowers with Love set.
The rest of the design team have made blue and green cards this week - you can see thier wonderful work by checking out their blogs (see the sidebar --->).
Before I go, I want to mention that a couple of the DT members have had their video cameras out - you can see Kylie's video here, and Tiffany's here.
Thanks for looking!

A perfect 10!
My little man turned 10 last Friday. Where have the years gone?
He's gone from nappies to kinder to school. From wearing whatever I tell him to having his own style. From calling his willy "my doodle" to "say hello to my little friend" (in his very best Scarface voice) to "my junk." Where does he hear these things?
His favourite colour is green, and he's a passionate Hawks supporter. He loves reading and is very family orientated. Even if he weren't my son, I'd still want to hang out with him - he's got a wicked sense of humour.
Here's the card I made him:
Scoring those lines would have been easier with a ScorPal I tell ya! The alpha is Making Memories, the '10' is Darkroom Door stamps, and they sit on top of some ovals cut with Nestabilities with some chipboard stars.
Thanks for stopping by to listen to one proud mumma!

March at Lime Tart
Just popping in to say the gallery is up at Lime Tart. Beautiful work from all the girls, including some work by the very wonderful Sherry Mendoza.
With my A la Tarte kit this month, I made a pizza box with some 4x4 inch cards in it:
a couple of cards, and 2 layouts. I thought I was going to burst if I didn't try an A4 layout (8.5 x 11 inches), and once I made one:
I love this size! You bet I'll be doing more.
The girls have done an awesome job once again - be sure to pop into the gallery and take an extra good look at all of those close ups for extra detail.

AnnaBelle Sketch #17
Here's the sketch for this fortnight:
and here's my card:
I used stamps from the Mum's Flowers set, and some Sprinkles and a heart. The Sprinkles and the heart are actually a different colour, so I coloured over them with my black Copic marker to try to bring them a little closer together.
Remember all AnnaBelle sketch challenges have a prize attached to them now, so be sure to get your entry in. This week the prize is the Flourishes set and some Sprinkles. You can grab some more inspiration from the rest of the DT on the blog. I look forward to seeing everyone's cards.

Be still my beating heart...
You know when something wonderful happens, and time has to pass before you realise it was one of the hightlights of your life? Well, I think I've just lived one of those times.
Last Friday, my copy of Take Ten arrived, and I have been on a real high since. Here's the cover:
This is the issue where I appear as guest artist. I was invited last year to submit some cards, and I incorporated some of my favourite things (which happen to be made here in Australia). I love the new look of the magazine - especially the new section called 'A Second Take' where they highlight interesting details on a few cards.
To top off my wonderful week, I went to parent/teacher interviews and my babies are doing well at school. I mean, they are really doing me proud. Somehow, the little darlings are giving the impression they have competent parents (shhhhh...don't tell them that I'm learning as I go ;).
I'm off now to put my feet up after a busy day. Thanks for stopping by!

Say it with cake!
AnnaBelle Stamps Bling Sketch Challenges are now running for two weeks instead of one, so you've got one more week to get a card in for the current challenge. The prize is the I Can Fly stamp set, so why not get your card made this weekend? If you don't own any AnnaBelle Stamps, you can use whatever you have.
On the week in between new challenges, the design team will be bringing you some inspiration with a theme in mind. This week the theme is "Say it with Cake."
Here's my card using stamps from the Jasmine's Cupcake set:
I used my Copics to colour her in, and some Stickles on her dress for extra sparkle. The flower centre is make with Artichoke Sprinkles. Here's a close up:
You can find links to the blogs of the rest of the DT in my sidebar.
Have a wonderful (and crafty) weekend everyone!
