Mister Fox card kit at Craft Queen

I put together some samples for a card kit available from Craft Queen. It's called Mister Fox, and it uses the range of papers of the same name by KaiserCraft. Here are three of the eight:

Great for lots of occasions, this kit comes with everything you need to make the cards including an assortment of the buttons, charms and ribbons Craft Queen is famous for.

Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo Melbourne

Just under a couple of weeks to go until the Melbourne Scrap and Papercraft Expo, and Beck Beattie and I will be teaching classes there for one of my favourite online shops Craft Queen! Beck will be teaching a couple of layout classes (the peeks I've seen look amazing!), and I'll be teaching a card class in the afternoon.

Here's a sneaky of my cards:

In my class we'll be making three cards for ladies, and then tweaking them to make three more suitable for men. The full details on how to book in can be found on the expo website.

Looking forward to meeting some of you there!

Knitting Sue tag

Last June I learned to knit. I reckon I have made at least 20 scarves, mostly those frilly ones, but I have an epic work in progress that has been knitted on huge needles and will eventually be felted.

I wanted to create a special tag to go with the scarves, for when I give them away to friends.  Here's what I came up with:

I knitted a teeny sampler onto bamboo skewers and attached it to the tag. The Knitting Sue stamp from 100 Proof Press was the perfect image for this! I then embellished the top of the tag with various trims from Craft Queen and a button.

This will make a handmade scarf even more special!

Thanks for dropping in today.

more Collections cards for Craft Queen

I made more cards last year as part of my guest DT spot at Craft Queen. Here are another two:

I made the flower from some gorgeous ruffled satin ribbon, with another little flower in the centre of it.

This one is simply four tiles with dimension:

Nicole has a full materials list on the Craft Queen blog if there's a product I've used that you simply MUST have :)

The Melbourne Scrapbook Expo is on in a couple of weeks, so if you're wanting to do my class, or any other, head over to the website to book yourself in.

Melbourne Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo

Yaaaay! The big show is coming to Melbourne from 1-3 March 2013, and I'm honoured to be teaching a card class for Craft Queen.

Here's a little sneak peek:

It's essentially a masculine card class, but I'll be showing lots of feminine options.

All the blurb can be found on the expo website and bookings have just opened so get cracking! These classes can sell out quickly.

Craft Queen Guest Designer

Lucky lucky me! A little while ago, I was sent an amazing parcel of goodies from the Craft Queen - one of my favourite online stores in Australia. I was sent a bunch of new Collections products as well as a huge collection of ribbons and trims.

When I stopped drooling, I made some cards which will be shown on the Craft Queen blog over the next little while.

Here's the first card:

You can find the full list of materials at the Craft Queen blog.
