KaiserCraft needle book

I remember gasping when I saw this range from KaiserCraft. It's called Needle and Thread, and as the name suggests, it's a sewing theme.

I thought I'd make something practical - a needle book to stop my delicate fingers (snort!) from getting pricked by loose needles in my kit.

All the details can be found on the Artfull Crafts blog.

Thanks for looking!

More KaiserCraft Hopscotch cards

Today I have another set of cards from the Hopscotch range of paper by KaiserCraft, but this time I have pulled all the neutral elements from the range and made a completely different set of cards:

You can see this set of cards is really quite different from the last set of cards using the same range of papers. Love it when a range of papers is so diverse you can get such different looking work out of it.

You can find all the details on the Artfull Crafts blog.

Thanks for dropping in today!

KaiserCraft All Class Magnetic Pegs

Don't you love it when you identify a problem, and then come up with a solution yourself using some delicious scrapbooking supplies?

This is what I made to solve the "oh my goodness, where have all of these school notices come from?"problem:

Wooden pegs covered with the wonderfully bright Class Act range from KaiserCraft. These will hold several notices and stick to the fridge where I can see them.

I took a couple of these pegs, and added a couple of extra embellishments:

These pegs are pretty simple to put together - check out the Artfull Crafts blog for the details.

A card and ATC set

I was sent some delicious Prima Rosarian products to play with from Artfull Crafts, and I made a couple of card and ATC sets. It's so easy to make a smaller version of the card using scraps that are already on the desk.

Here's the first set:

Pop over to the blog and read the blurb.

This little set is going out to the next birthday girl at my ATC group :)

Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!

Butterfly Kisses Layout for Artfull Crafts

I've got my first post up on the Artfull Crafts blog today!

It's a layout using one of the new KaiserCraft ranges called Butterfly Kisses:

I had so much fun putting this together - who wouldn't be happy with beautiful colours, butterflies, and cute little shapes I didn't have to cut out myself (thanks to KaiserCraft Collectables). I even put together a little tutorial on making the little toothpick flags.

Thanks for dropping in today!

Some Artfull News

Many of you know that I was lucky to be invited to teach in New Zealand earlier this year. The store I taught in is called Artfull Crafts, and when I saw they had a design team call a few weeks ago, I threw my hat in the ring.

I'm delighted to announce I made the team! I'm thrilled to be able to contribute in some small way to this wonderful store and community.

You can read the announcement post here, and read about my fellow team mates. Leave a comment and you could win yourself a little prizie.

Here's a little peek of what you can find in my gallery:

I'm going to love working with these girls!
