Beach Boy

Here's my layout for this fortnight's challenge at The Studio Challenges:

If Blogger is behaving, you'll be able to click the pictures to make them bigger.

The theme is 'frames' and I've used a couple of chipboard frames and a frame stamp under the title.

I embossed the large chipboard frame with my Cuttlebug, then painted it with a few layers of acrylic paint, finishing it off with white and a wash of brown (it's pooling in some areas of the embossing).

The paper is from Pink Paislee, and I added to the background a little by stamping some Darkroom Door Seashells and spraying with some Walnut Colour Spray from Twiddleybitz. Also from Twiddleybitz is the Oriental Border, behind which I've put some stained gauze. The little alpha stamps I used at the bottom are also Darkroom Door.

Here's a close up of the title made from a Basic Grey chipboard alpha. The stamp behind it is from SeeD's.

  1. Great photos and a wonderful layout. I love the stamping in the background, the texture in the chipboard, and the colors you used.

  2. I love this Teresa! The shells in the background look awesome!

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave me some love!
