Cards from a Christmas Class

Here are some of the cards I taught for a Christmas class little while ago at Little Bits.  I used the Yuletide Vol 2 stamp set from Darkroom Door, and a variety of vintage-looking papers.

The Black Cherry StazOn ink was a real hit! It's quite a dark red, perfect for vintage Christmas cards.

Here's a fun card - I used one of the Photobooth ladies, layered on old text, and stuck a red felt hat on her.  The ladies in the class had fun cutting the hats - we had every shape from long, pointed KluKlux to short, wide paddy hat, and everything in between. We had a good laugh at that!
The background for this card was made with a Cuttlebug embossing folder (Textured Textile - an oldie but a goodie), and some ink lightly rubbed to accentuate the raised areas. The stamp is by Artee.
