A Lime Tart Challenge!

It's time for someone to win a prize!

Lime Tart is holding a challenge - all you need to do is use at least two different brands of patterned paper, a flower embellishment, and some chipboard on a project. It's your choice - layout, card, whatever you choose.

Here's a card I made using the challenge recipe:

and this is the awesome prize you could win:

Grab more details from Zest blog, and get cracking! You've got until the 12th October to get your entry in. The competition is open to everyone - even you talented overseas girls. I'm looking forward to seeing all of your wonderful entries!

The theme for the current challenge is Autumn. Here's my card:

I used an image called Margaux is painting, with my Copic markers and papers from Sassafras Lass.

Thanks for looking!

World Card Making Day

Yay! It's almost here! Click on the logo below to learn more about this wonderful international celebration:
This Saturday is the day that card makers from all over the world will be celebrating the joy of creating and giving handmade cards. Here's one of the cards I made for this event:

I love the colours on these papers by Cosmo Cricket!

If you make a card, you can
upload it to the WCMD gallery to share in the worldwide celebration. You'll be eligible to win a prize on both the Paper Crafts Connection blog and the Moxie Fab World blog.

You can even enter the WCMD contest in which you have a chance to be published in the March/April 2010 issue of Paper Crafts magazine.

If you're lacking inspiration to make your own card, I'd like to point you in the direction of the WCMD Blog Tour in which you can not only see 25 more cards made specifically for WCMD, but you can also get a coupon code for 25% off your entire purchase on the online store.

Tune in to the Moxie Fab World blog each day of this week to see more cards from different regions of the world and to have an opportunity to comment-to-win a different prize each day. Comments will close at midnight on Sunday, October 4 at midnight (no matter where you live.) Prize-winners will be announced on Tuesday, October 6. The prizes will be shipped directly from the manufacturers. All international comments will be honored. The prizes that will be offered each day can be seen on the Moxie Fab World blog.

So, leave me a comment here on my blog, then go to the Moxie Fab World blog and leave a comment there as well. You will have an opportunity to see one of my projects, as well as links to the blogs of the other participants, which will give you even more chances to be inspired (and to win!).

Above all, have a wonderful World Card Making Day!
