Oooops - look at the time!

I got home from work at 10:30 last night, and said "I'll just to a bit of planning for Amy's altered book". The next time I looked up it was 3am! Ooops I did it again. I'm not too upset tho - I'm meeting up with the girls to swap books today, so now I'll have two to swap over. I feel a bit clever!

Amy's theme for her book is vintage travel, and we can't do the same city/country as anyone before us in the book. Naturally the first to go was Paris, then New York, then London (all the cities I have supplies for grrr!). So I popped in to Christina's for some more supplies.

Double click on the photo for a closer look. I used a couple of photos lifted off the net, a transparency (also lifted that photo off the net) and some handwriting (is this called journalling? Not really, sounds a bit scrapbooky to me!) That column is made with Delight modelling compound using a mould by Krafty Lady. I painted it with some cream acrylic paint and my ink-stained fingers.

The word ROME is stamped using a PurpleOnion alpha. There are also little pieces of map - I printed these with my trusty inkjet on some canvas paper that had been painted with cream acrylic paint.

There it is!
