Birds of a feather

That was the name of a swap I joined with a bunch of Aussie and international gals:



For my ATCs, I made an acrylic paint background with a credit card technique using red, pink and white acrylic paint as well as gesso. Then I stamped the Tim Holtz clock with grey Adirondak ink (it went all funny and interesting - sort of ghosty and mauve - WEEEEIRD!). The bird is from Papercraft Studios, and it stamped up beautifully with black Versafine ink. This stamp came from a clear unmounted set I won a couple of months back. I was so excited to finally get to use it :)
Next I cut the banner from old text, stamped the word with an alphabet set, and finished it off with a hand-drawn border.
I just can't wait to see what the other girls have come up with!
