Prima Mica Powder three different ways

My parcel from Hobbysew Echuca contained a couple of pots of Prima Mica powder, so I created a set of cards showing how I used it three different ways:

Read all about it on the Hobbysew Echuca blog.

Sacre Coeur Frame using Prima Resin Flaming Heart

I put together this frame using a bunch of Prima products from HobbySew Echuca:

The centre piece is a resin flaming heart that has been coloured with acrylic paints. There are Prima Art Stones and Mini Art Stones scattered around the heart, and everything was given a bit of a Midas touch with Prima Mica powder I made up into a spray:

I folded some stripe ribbon into a bit of a banner and added some words from the Montmartre stamp set from Darkroom Door:

Notes on how it came together can be found on the HobbySew Echuca blog.  Thanks for looking!

Faux Metal Cards

Here are a couple of cards I made using Prima's Opal Magic paint:

Can you believe it's just plain black cardstock under there? This is what the paint looks like when wet:

Not a hint of blue at all!

I dry embossed a couple of pieces of black cardstock, then gave them a couple of thin coats of Opal Magic paint. When they were dry, I smeared a small amount of PVA glue onto the raised bits, and applied some gold foil.

 Thanks for looking!

A card set for Hobbysew Echuca

I used a bunch of awesome products from Hobbysew Echuca to create this little set here:

I prepared a video to show how I put together the bookmark using the Prima Adhesive Rub Ons and foil - love these products! You can see the post on the Hobbysew Echuca blog, and link up to the video from there.
