checking in...

This is a busy time of year! I thought with all three children at school this year, I'd have so much free time on my hands I'd likely need another job. Ha!  I'm busier than ever - if I'm not helping out around the school, I'm taking old people to appointments, or, when things get really desperate, I might be found doing housework. Yeah - that hardly happens LOL.

This is a card I made for one of Jake's friends. He turned 11, and is a mad keen Geelong fan. So the card is navy and white, with a bit of kraft thrown in because I love it and can't help myself:

I used some Darkroom Door stamps - the Checkered Background stamp (which is enormous, but you can see I've just inked up a random area on it for this card), the Mesh Background stamp for the chipboard stars, and the happy birthday comes from the All Occasions set.

Here it is on its side so you can see how the happy birthday banner has been attached:
