A cameo appearance
Here's an easy peasy card using the brand new VintageTweeny Bitz from Twiddleybitz. These are tiny little chipboard shapes that come in a set of six.
Quite simply, all I did was colour the chipboard with my black Copic marker, and mount it on a couple of oval shapes. Simple, but elegant I think.

Ah. That's lovely. Simple, graphic, yet soft and very effective.
